March 28 to April 1, 2017, China NERIN DGM Liu Xueke and his Group were invited by Shell Global Solutions (Indonesia) to attend Shell Cansolv Technology Day in Jakarta, which deepens China NERIN’s cooperation with Shell and furthers China NERIN’s development in Indonesia market with the aid of Shell’s channels. The Shell Cansolv Technology Day is an important conference on pollution control and environmental protection of smelting industry that Shell held in Indonesia for the first time.

Mr. Dasrul Chaniago, an officer from the Ministry of Environment of The Republic of Indonesia, and Dr. Ir Andi Rustandi, a professor of Material and Metallurgy School of University of Indonesia, were invited to the Technical Day to give a keynote speech on Current Emission Standard and Upcoming Changes and Major Minerals Smelting Status and Industry Overview in Indonesia respectively. In addition, the Technical Day also included some interactive innovation show case sessions. China NERIN technical personnel on the meeting took an active part in the interactive discussions.

During their stay in Indonesia, DGM Liu Xueke and his Group visited and held friendly talks with several Indonesia companies of the industry to establish and improve communication channels. These Indonesia companies expressed that they would actively promote further cooperation with China NERIN.

Related personnel from Chemical Business Unit, Metallurgy Business Unit and Marketing Department of China NERIN participated in the above activities.
